The British Academy of Film and Television Arts has announced the nominations for the 2020 BAFTA Television Awards, with HBO and Sky’s acclaimed drama miniseries Chernobyl leading the field with 14 nominations.
That ties the record set by Killing Eve last year for the most nominations in a single year, and includes Best Miniseries, Best Leading Actor (Jared Harris) and Best Supporting Actor (Stellan Skarsgard).
Other shows to receive multiple nominations include The Crown (seven), Fleabag and Giri/Haji (six), His Dark Materials and The Virtues (five), and Killing Eve, Sex Education and Top Boy (four).
