Zack Snyder’s Justice League targeting early 2021 release date

June 24, 2020 by Samuel Brace

Zack Snyder’s Justice League is targeting an early to mid-2021 release date according to WarnerMedia president.

The news that HBO Max would be releasing the much-discussed Snyder Cut was a huge win for fans. Zack Snyder’s Justice League will be released via an episodic format on the streaming service, giving audiences a chance to see what Snyder originally intended the film to be before he left the project.

While fans have had to be patient in making this project happen, it sounds like they won’t have to wait too much longer to finally see it as WarnerMedia president Sandra Dewey has told Variety that Zack Snyder’s Justice League will arrive in “early to mid-2021.”

This date will, of course, be narrowed down in due time but at least fans have some idea of when they can expect to enjoy the Snyder Cut. Hopefully, it will live up to the expectation and not disappoint those who have been calling for it for so long.

In Justice League, fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Justice League is directed by Zack Snyder and features Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta and Robin Wright as General Antiope, J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon, Amber Heard as Mera, Ciaran Hinds as Steppenwolf and Ray Porter as Darkseid.
