Another year, another Adam Sandler comedy. This time, he is taking over Halloween with a brand-new film coming to Netflix. Hubie Halloween, directed by Little Nicky’s Steve Brill, is coming to the streamer in October, and these first images from the movie look to tackle a more “grown-up” perspective of the holiday.
Much like Sandler’s other films, Huibe Halloween is packing a serious group of comedic actors. The stellar cast for the film includes Kevin James, Julie Bowen, Maya Rudolph, Ray Liotta, Steve Buscemi, Rob Schneider, Michael Chiklis, and Kenan Thompson. Co-starring are China Anne McClain, Paris Berelc, Tim Meadows, Colin Quinn, June Squibb, Shaquille O’Neal, Karan Brar, Noah Schnapp, Mikey Day, Melissa Villaseñor, Kym Whitley, Lavell Crawford, Betsy Sodaro, George Wallace, and Blake Clark.

“The plot follows Hubie Dubois (Sandler), who, despite his devotion to his hometown of Salem, Massachusetts (and its legendary Halloween celebration), is a figure of mockery for kids and adults alike. But this year, something really is going bump in the night, and it’s up to Hubie to save Halloween.”
Hubie Halloween is rated PG-13 for “crude and suggestive content, language and brief teen partying.” It is set to premiere on Netflix on October 7th.
