DC FanDome is set to make its return tomorrow to host a virtual premiere for Warner Bros. and DC Films’ hotly-anticipated superhero sequel Wonder Woman 1984 ahead of its international roll out this week.
“We have the best fans in the world and that’s why we’re so excited to celebrate the launch of Wonder Woman 1984 in such a big way,” said director Patty Jenkins and star Gal Gadot. “Having it be a virtual event allows us to share the moment with Wonder Woman superfans everywhere who might not otherwise have the chance to experience a movie premiere.”
The Wonder Woman 1984 virtual premiere will take place on the official DC FanDome website from noon PT on Tuesday, December 15th, and includes a brand new and exclusive behind-the-scenes featurette and sneak peek at the movie, a virtual red carpet and Q&A with Jenkins, Gadot, and co-stars Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig and Pedro Pascal, and performance from composer Hans Zimmer.
It won’t however include the movie itself – you’ll have to take a trip to the cinema for that, or watch it on HBO Max from Christmas Day if you’re in the States…
Wonder Woman 1984 reunites Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins with stars Gal Gadot (Diana Prince), Chris Pine (Steve Trevor), Ewen Bremner (Charlie), Said Taghmaoui (Sameer), Connie Nielsen (Queen Hippolyta), Robin Wright (General Antiope), Lisa Loven Kongsli (Menalippe), Doutzen Kroes (Venelia) and new additions Kristen Wiig (Ghostbusters) as Barbara Ann Minerva/Cheetah, Pedro Pascal (Game of Thrones) as Maxwell Lord, and Natasha Rothwell (Love, Simon), Ravi Patel (Master of None) and Gabriella Wilde (Doctor Who) in as-yet-unrevealed roles.
