Just turned in the official first draft of LEGO Movie 2.
Hello, Thanksgiving.— Christopher Miller (@chrizmillr) November 25, 2015
Miller is writing the follow-up to the 2014 smash hit with his regular collaborator Phil Lord, although the duo have passed over directing duties to Rob Schrab (Community) owing to their hectic schedule, which includes the Han Solo Star Wars Anthology movie.
The LEGO Movie Sequel is one of several LEGO projects in the works at Warner Bros., and will be joined by The LEGO Batman Movie, LEGO Ninjago and The Billion Brick Race. It is set for release on May 18th 2018.
