After spending years in development hell, Sony’s Uncharted movie seemingly still can’t catch a break as it is being reported that the upcoming video game adaptation has been delayed again – this time by one week from February 11th 2022 to February 18th 2022.
The Uncharted movie was originally set to debut on July 16th, 2021 before being pushed back to the aforementioned February 11th 2022 as a result of the ongoing global health crisis. However, with this latest delay only being a week, it is presumably down to Sony Pictures shifting their release calendar.
While plot details are still currently unknown, Holland has previously stated that the Uncharted movie will be taking inspiration from the fourth instalment in the video game franchise, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.
