Following its first season debut back in April, Netflix has revealed that the small screen adaptation of Leigh Bardugo’s ‘Grishaverse‘ fantasy book series Shadow and Bone has been renewed for a second season with the service ordering eight one-hour episodes.

“I’m honoured and thrilled to return to the Grishaverse and continue the stories of these endearing characters, particularly Milo,” said series creator, writer and executive producer Eric Heisserer.
Jessie Mei Li (Alina Starkov), Archie Renaux (Malyen Oretsev), Freddy Carter (Kaz Brekker), Amita Suman (Inej), Kit Young (Jesper Fahey), Ben Barnes (General Kirigan), Danielle Galligan (Nina Zenik) and Calahan Skogman (Matthias Helvar) are all set to reprise their roles in the second season with additional casting details being revealed at a later date.
