Marvel and Sony found success in their 2018 smash-hit Spider-Man. The pair will hope to continue that success with their next crop of games, one of which is a sequel to that 2018 game. During Sony’s PlayStation Showcase, Marvel unleashed three teasers for upcoming games.
We got more details on the previously announced Guardians of the Galaxy game, which saw a new trailer hit the internet. The preview showed more of the game’s story, which includes more of Star-Lord’s backstory. The game launches on October 26th on all platforms; check out the trailer below:
One of the major surprises from the Playstation Showcase was the first look at Spider-Man 2, the follow-up to Marvel’s Spider-Man and its Miles Morales spin-off. We learn the game will feature one of Marvel’s most iconic baddies, with Venom making his PlayStation 5 debut in the teaser. Check out the trailer below as we wait to learn more information about the project.
And finally, one of Sony’s biggest surprises of the event was the announcement of a new Wolverine game. The long-time X-Men character is finally getting his next-gen game debut following his last outing in 2009 with the X-Men Origins: Wolverine game. The teaser only shows a cinematic scene of Logan fighting men off in a bar, but the teaser has delighted Marvel fans. You can find it below:
