It seems that Legion star Dan Stevens could be set for a return to the Marvel universe – not in the role of David Haller, but as the villain in Marvel Studios’ upcoming Phase Four blockbuster Eternals.
In an interview with Collider to promote his new film I’m Your Man [read our review here], Stevens was asked about rumours linking him to the Marvel film and responded with a firm “Kro comment”. Watch his response here…

In case you’re unaware, Kro is the name of the main villain in Eternals, the immortal, shape-shifting general of the Deviants who we’ve briefly seen – and heard – tangling with Angelina Jolie’s Thena in the final trailer for the movie.
Based on Stevens’ response, it seems safe to assume that he is indeed voicing the villain, and given Kro’s shape-shifting abilities it’s possible we could get to see the actor in the flesh if the character adopts a human form at any point.
Marvel Studios’ Eternals features an exciting new team of Super-Heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, ancient aliens who have been living on Earth in secret for thousands of years. Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, an unexpected tragedy forces them out of the shadows to reunite against mankind’s most ancient enemy, The Deviants.
Eternals is directed by Chloe Zhao (The Rider) and features a cast that includes Angelina Jolie (Maleficent) as Thena, Richard Madden (Bodyguard) as Ikaris, Don Lee (Train to Busan) as Gilgamesh, Salma Hayek (The Hitman’s Bodyguard) as Ajak, Lauren Ridloff (The Walking Dead) as Makkari, Brian Tyree Henry (Child’s Play) as Phastos, Lia McHugh (American Woman) as Sprite, Kumail Nanjiani (The Big Sick) as Kingo, Kit Harington (Game of Thrones) as Dane Whitman, Gemma Chan (Captain Marvel) as Sersi and Barry Keoghan (Dunkirk) as Druig.
Marvel’s Eternals is set for release on November 5th 2021.
