It’s not only the cast of Star Wars: Ahsoka that’s coming together, but Lucasfilm is also building out the creative team for its live-action Disney+ series with THR reporting that Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse co-director Peter Ramsey has signed on to direct at least one episode of the show.
Spinning out of The Mandalorian, Ahsoka will see Rosario Dawson reprising her role as the live-action version of the fan-favourite Clone Wars character in what is expected to serve as a follow-up of sorts to the climactic events of Star Wars Rebels as Ahsoka searches for the missing Grand Admiral Thrawn and Jedi Ezra Bridger.
Joining Dawson in the cast of Star Wars: Ahsoka is the returning Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker and Star Wars newcomers Natasha Liu Bordizzo (The Society) as Sabine Wren and Ivanna Sakhno (Pacific Rim: Uprising), Ray Stevenson (Thor) and Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Birds of Prey) in as-yet-unrevealed roles.
