The long-running sci-fi series Doctor Who celebrates its 60th anniversary next year, and the BBC is going all out to make the occasion a memorable one for fans of the Time Lord.
Not only do we have the return of showrunner Russell T. Davies, a new Doctor in Ncuti Gatwa, and the return of David Tennant and Catherine Tate, but the BBC has now announced that How I Met Your Mother star Neil Patrick Harris in a mystery role.
“It’s my huge honour to open our studio doors for the mighty Neil Patrick Harris… but who, why, what is he playing?” said Davies. “You’ll just have to wait. But I promise you, the stuff we’re shooting now is off the scale. Doctor beware!”
