Marvel’s latest foray into television Ms. Marvel might not be pulling up any trees ratings-wise for Disney+, but Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has shrugged aside any notion of MCU fatigue to deliver the biggest viewing figures of the studio’s Phase Four movies to date.
As reported by Samba TV, the Sam Raimi-directed sequel was viewed by 2.1 million households in its first 5 days of streaming on Disney+, compared to 2 million households for Eternals, 1.7 million households for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, and 1.1 million for Black Widow.

You’ll notice box office smash Spider-Man: No Way Home is absent from the list, with the streaming rights to the box office smash heading to Starz this month as part of Sony’s deal with the platform.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness hit Disney+ last Wednesday, just 47 days after its theatrical premiere on a box office run that has seen the sequel amass over $950 million worldwide, second only to Top Gun: Maverick in terms of the year’s biggest earners.
