Variety is reporting that Wes Brown (True Blood) has been cast as Gaston for the fifth season of Once Upon a Time, which is set to return this March.
Gaston was previously played by Sage Brocklebank, who briefly appeared in season one.
The hunter’s story is said to take place in a time before Belle (Emilie de Ravin) met Rumple (Robert Carlyle), offering a twist on the original story of Beauty and the Beast.
