August 9, 2022 by Amie Cranswick

The first trailer has been released for Jane, the psychological thriller Jane which follows Olivia (Riverdale’s Madelaine Petsch), a high school senior who begins to experience a series of frightening panic attacks after becoming overwhelmed with loss and embarks on a journey of self-control, embracing her dark impulses to get ahead; watch it here…

Seemingly perfect high school senior, Olivia, struggles with grief from the recent loss of a friend. When she gets deferred from her dream college she begins to spiral and experiences a series of increasingly frightening panic attacks. In an attempt to regain some sense of control, she embarks on a social media-fueled rampage against those that stand in the way of her success but, as things escalate, she is forced to confront – and ultimately embrace – her darkest impulses in order to get ahead.

Written and directed by Sabrina Jaglom, Jane features a cast that also includes Chloe Bailey and Melissa Leo.

Jane arrives in select AMC cinemas on August 26th and streams exclusively on Creator+ on September 16th.
