Ahead of its theatrical release this January, Sony Pictures has shared a new trailer for A Man Called Otto, director Marc Foster’s upcoming adaptation of Fredrik Backman’s New York Times bestselling novel A Man Called Ove.
The comedy drama stars Tom Hanks as Otto Anderson, a man grieving the loss of his wife who is willing to end it all until a young family moves in next door, leading to friendship that turns his life around.
Based on the # 1 New York Times bestseller “A Man Called Ove,” A Man Called Otto tells the story of Otto Anderson (Tom Hanks), a grump who no longer sees purpose in his life following the loss of his wife. Joining Tom Hanks in the cast are Mariana Treviño, Rachel Keller, and Manuel Garcia-Rulfo.
