Don’t expect Liam Neeson to join any more Star Wars spin-off shows on Disney+ any time soon, as during his recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live, the actor spoke about the brand and how he feels the magic is slipping away the more the attempt to expand the universe.
When asked if the actor was interested in returning, Neeson said, “No, I’m not,” before adding, “There’s so many spin-offs of Star Wars. It’s diluting it to me, and it’s taken away the mystery and the magic in a weird way.”
The actor briefly shared a slight moment in last year’s Obi-Wan Kenobi, appearing very briefly as his character Qui-Gon Jinn, where the actor says it was “nice to do the little bit with Ewan [McGregor].”
Neeson would explain his slight return to Paul Rudd, who was also there for the interview. “We did a TV version. I appeared in the last episode. I had two lines to say. Two lines,” he told the Ant-Man actor and host, Andy Cohen. “And that was cool! I loved doing that!”
