Utopia has revealed a poster and trailer for Norwegian writer-director Kristoffer Borgli’s dark comedy drama Sick of Myself.
The film centres on Signe (Kristine Kujath Thorp), a woman in an unhealthy and competitive relationship with her artist boyfriend Thomas ((Eirik Sæther). When her partner suddenly begins his rise to fame for his work, Signe hatches a desperate plan to gain the attention for herself. Watch the trailer below…
Signe (Kristine Kujath Thorp) and Thomas (Eirik Sæther) are in an unhealthy, competitive relationship that takes a vicious turn when Thomas suddenly breaks through as a contemporary artist. In response, Signe makes a desperate attempt to regain her status by creating a new persona hell-bent on attracting attention and sympathy.
The film stars Kristine Kujath Thorp, Eirik Sæther, Fanny Vaager, Sarah Francesca Brænne, Fredrik Stenberg Ditlev-Simonsen, Steinar Klouman Hallert, Andrea Bræin Hovig, Henrik Mestad, and Anders Danielsen Lie.
