Three weeks after the shocking news that Jonathan Majors was arrested on domestic violence charges in New York City, the actor has lost his talent manager, Entertainment 360.
In a new report from Deadline, sources told the outlet the talent manager dropped Majors due to “issues surrounding the actor’s personal behavior.”
This follows news of PR firm The Lede Company initiating a break with Majors in the last month, as well as the actor and fashion house Valentino “mutually agreeing” to not have him attending this year’s Met Gala as one of its guests.
Fans of the MCU are taking this news especially strangely, as Jonathan Majors was a key component to their plans. His character Kang was briefly teased in Loki Season 1 before making a grand entrance in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
Per Deadline, “there’s been zero conversations in the Marvel camp to drop Majors from the MCU.” The studio could await anything more formal in the investigation before making their next move.
It’s a tricky situation given Majors’ already shot the second season of Marvel/Disney+’s Loki, and he isn’t confirmed to appear in any other projects until Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, which doesn’t film for quite some time.
In a statement made to Deadline in March, Majors’ criminal defense attorney Priya Chaudhry stated, “Jonathan Majors is completely innocent and is probably the victim of an altercation with a woman he knows. We are quickly gathering and presenting evidence to the District Attorney with the expectation that all charges will be dropped imminently.”
