Rebel Wilson is gearing up for another of her signature comedy films, and we’ve learned more about the film’s supporting cast.
Deadline reports joining Wilson in this comedy romp are Anna Camp, Justin Hartley, Anna Chlumsky, Stephen Dorff, Gigi Zumbado, and Da’Vine Joy Randolph. Also rounding out the rest of the cast is Sam Huntington, Sherry Cola, and Michael O’Neill.
Bride Hard sees Wilson as a badass secret agent who is a force to be reckoned with as a mercenary group takes hostage her best friend’s lavish wedding. Simon West helms the project penned by Shaina Steinberg from a story by Steinberg and CeCe Pleasants.
If you’ve heard about this film recently, it’s probably due to star Rebel Wilson injuring her nose during one of the night shoots. Earlier this month, Wilson recalls, “In the middle of a night shoot, my last scene of the movie, so I’d done all these kick-ass fight sequences, and then just in the last one, I got hit in the face with the butt of a gun.”
For those wondering, the independent production was also cleared for a SAG-AFTRA interim agreement. Filming just wrapped recently, with the shoot happening in Savannah, GA. As yet, there’s no word on a release date.
