Saban Films has released a poster and trailer for director Conor Allyn’s upcoming horror-thriller In the Fire.
Set in the 1890’s the film stars Amber Heard as Grace Burnham, a doctor who arrives at a remote plantation to treat a young boy who appears to have disturbing abilities, but she soon finds herself at war with a local priest who believes the child is possessed by the devil. Watch the trailer below…
A doctor from New York (Amber Heard) travels to a remote plantation in the 1890s to care for a disturbed boy who seems to have inexplicable abilities. She begins treating the child, but in doing so ignites a war of science versus religion with the local priest who believes the boy is possessed by the Devil and is the reason for all the village’s woes.
Featuring in the cast of In the Fire are Amber Heard, Lorenzo McGovern Zaini, Eduardo Noriega, and Luca Calvani.
In the Fire arrives in cinemas and on digital platforms on October 13th.
