With Christmas and the end of the year fast approaching, Jam City has revealed details of what’s coming to gamers in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery this November and December. Take part in new events, enjoy updates and more in the run up to Christmas.
Throughout November, players will get the chance to encounter some special moments from Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, these moments have been strongly hinted as involving a Mountain Troll and an epic Quidditch match involving the youngest Seeker in a century. There is also a special Ravenclaw house celebration event for players to enjoy, a Thanksgiving-themed Magical Milestones outfit to earn, a family feast at Hogwarts and exciting Black Friday offers to tempt players with such bargains as discounted magical creatures.
Also arriving this month is the new Main Quest Multiplier, this is a new gameplay mechanic that will help players progress through story chapter levels much more quickly. This is especially useful for those who can’t wait to experience the game’s biggest and most successful update, Beyond Hogwarts. This will only be available for a limited time so be sure to check in-game or on the game’s official social media channels.
Christmas arrives at Hogwarts this December and gives players the opportunity to help Professor Dumbledore spread some Christmas cheer around the school. For the Beyond Hogwarts players, there’s the chance to join the Weasley family on a holiday adventure in Romania where they will get to meet the youngest member of the family for the very first time.
December will also bring more magical fun with the special “12 Days to Christmas” countdown where there will be daily rewards available for players to collect.
