Atari and Dreams Uncorporated have released their first cinematic narrative trailer for the upcoming Lunar Lander Beyond. This all-new narrative adventure has been based on Atari’s 1979 classic Lunar Lander and will arrive on PC and consoles later this year. You can watch this new cinematic trailer below…
In this new trailer, players will get a teaser of what’s in store for when they become employed by the Pegasus Corporation delivery company. This seemingly easy job goes awry when mysterious portals begin to appear and cause all manner of problems, leading to the uncovering of sinister truths lurking behind the very fabric of space.
In Lunar Lander Beyond players become the captain of their own vessel and guide their crew of explorers and advisors through numerous missions of extracting and delivering cargo over a variety of different moons and planets. Encounter mysterious portals in starfields and uncover the sinister secrets they hide.
Lunar Lander Beyond features:
- A variety of sci-fi landscapes drawn in Dream Uncorporated’s hand-drawn style.
- Conquer 30 missions that span across five celestial bodies, including Nueva Luna, Mars, Venus, Ganymede and the mysterious realm of Etimus.
- Choose from a myriad of pilot options then choose one of four ships. Once your ship is ready customise it with a selection from a dozen enhancements.
- Choose your destiny with four distinct difficulty tiers. Choose one of the four ships then customise with a selection from a dozen enhancements.
- Choose your own destiny where procedurally generated characters and unique attributes where the highest, ‘Insane’, pushes the boundaries with the risk of permadeath.
Lunar Lander Beyond will be arriving on PC and Consoles later in 2024.
