Practice the necromantic arts with Necrosmith 2

March 28, 2024 by Andrew Newton

Gamers can today begin to gather the remains of the dead and create their own undead armies with the release of Necrosmith 2. This sequel blends strategy, auto-battle mechanics, tower defence and roguelike gameplay to create a game every bit as exciting as the original.  Watch the new trailer below

In Necrosmith 2, players will become a necromancer and harness the powers of the undead to dominate the realm.  Using these undead minions, players will navigate their way through treacherous environments, battle an assortment of enemies and learn more of the necromancer’s craft.

The necromancer’s tower is the heart of the player’s domain and can be upgraded to provide a number of add-ons that not only give it a unique appearance but also enhances the undead warriors created.

Players will also be able to retrieve relics and purchase upgrades, such as the cat companion, which will make future runs much more interesting.

Necrosmith 2 features:

  • Assemble the undead forces from the body parts of a variety of fantasy races. Countless combinations will provide the undead with the ability to overcome environmental obstacles and perform better in combat.
  • Use the necromancer’s tower to construct necro labs for growing body parts and technomagic devices for powerful spells.
  • Explore dozens of different biomes in a procedurally generated world. View the map to see conquered territories and the environmental obstacles to overcome.
  • New Titan enemies that can easily destroy the player’s tower. Fortunately, their body parts can be used to create equally gigantic beasts.

Necrosmith 2 is available now on Steam with a 15% launch discount available until 9th April.
