Zachary Levi is set to dust up his palms and work on his grip for rock-climbing action flick Free Fall.
According to Variety the Shazam! and Chuck actor will headline the heart-stopping thriller, which is set to be directed by LOST alum, Death Proof star and longtime Quentin Tarantino stunt coordinator Zöe Bell.
Free Fall would mark the directorial debut of Bell, who has worked with Tarantino on the likes of The Hateful Eight, Django Unchained, Kill Bill, Inglourious Basterds, and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, as well as other big budget Hollywood projects such as Thor: Ragnarok and Iron Man 3.
Per Variety’s report Free Fall would tell the story of a father’s attempt to reconcile with his estranged daughter on a rock-climbing trip that turns deadly as an accident leaves them stranded hundreds of feet in the air.
Written by Sean Finegan and Gregg Maxwell Parker (Getaway), the film is set to go before cameras in Bell’s native New Zealand later this year.
Next up for Levi is Sony Pictures’ family adventure Harold and the Purple Crayon, which will be released in cinemas August 2, 2024.
