Warner Bros. is prepping another anime adventure for the Dark Knight with Anime News Network reporting that Warner Bros. Japan has produced a follow-up to to the 2018 animated feature Batman Ninja entitled Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League.
Details on the project are scarce at present but it has been confirmed that voice actor Koichi Yamadera will reprise his role as Batman for the Japanese language version, while the Batman Ninja creative team of director Junpei Mizusaki, screenwriter Kazuki Nakashima, character designer Takashi Okazaki and composer Yugo Kanno also return.
Plot details for Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League are being kept under wraps at present, but the original film saw the Dark Knight and a number of his friends and foes transported from present day Gotham City to feudal Japan.
Further details on Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League will be revealed at Anime Expo on July 4th, where Warner Bros. Japan is hosting a panel to show off the film along with the upcoming Suicide Squad ISEKAI anime.
