Jennifer Lawrence is back in full actress/producer mode with a new film from A24.
Lawrence is set for a movie adaptation of Why Don’t You Love Me?, the darkly comedic 2023 graphic novel by Paul B. Rainey.

The graphic novel that the film is described as a “pitch-black comedy about marriage, alcoholism, depression, and mourning lost opportunities,” with surprising twists along the way.
Lawrence is also a producer alongside Justine Ciarrocchi for Excellent Cadaver; Ari Aster, Lars Knudsen, and Emily Hildner of Square Peg are also attached to produce. Rainey will serve as executive producer.
Lawrence launched the production company Excellent Cadaver in 2018. Since then, the filmmaker has teamed with A24 for the release of its first film, 2022’s Causeway.
