Variety has revealed Bridgerton star Simone Ashley will star alongside Brad Pitt in the sports racing drama F1.
The news comes after Ashely was seen on the set of the film’s production this past weekend, which was shooting during the British Grand Prix as part of the film and Formula 1’s partnership to use real Grand Prix races as part of the film.
F1 sees Pitt as Formula 1 driver Sonny Hayes, a veteran F1 racer who returns to the sport with a rookie teammates as they compete to be the best F1 racers. The film will be directed by Joseph Kosinski (Top Gun: Maverick) from a script written by Maverick‘s Ethan Kruger.
Ashley joins a cast that includes Pitt, Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Javier Bardem, Tobias Menzies, Sarah Niles, Kim Bodnia and Samson Kayo. Watch the teaser trailer for the film here.
