Yellowstone is becoming a massive television empire, and its upcoming spinoff has added some brand-new Western royalty as it’s reported that actor Patrick J. Adams will join the previously cast Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell.
Adams is best known for playing Mike Ross on the hit USA Network series Suits. In recent years, the series saw a resurgence on streaming, which has led to the cast becoming in-demand again. He’ll join the actor legends Pfeiffer and Russell, who are making their way to television for the first time in some time.
Little is known about the series, but it was reportedly titled 2024 at one point. According to TVLine, this version of Yellowstone is set to follow wealthy matriarch Stacy Clyburn and her family as they leave New York City and head to Montana in the wake of her husband and brother-in-law’s tragic deaths in a plane crash.
It should be noted that none of the castings have been confirmed as yet by MTV Entertainment Studios, which produces alongside 101 Studios. Production on this spinoff will reportedly begin later this month for a 2025 premiere.
