Neil Marshall knows good horror with hits like The Descent and Dog Soldiers under his belt. Now, he looks to expand that lineage with a new take on Little Red Riding Hood that he’s set to executive produce.
Deadline reports filmmaker and longtime Marshall collaborator Craig Conway will make his directorial debut with Little Red, a new horror horror reinvention of Little Red Riding Hood story through a contemporary lens.
Peter Stylianou penned the script, and Daniel Patrick Vaughan is the cinematographer-producer. The outlet also notes that Paul Murray will produce. House54 will be produced in association with Newtown Entertainment.
Little is known about the project, but it will reportedly follow a fifteen-year-old girl who unravels the dark secrets in her family. Casting has yet to be revealed.
