Groundbreaking co-op horror Dungeon Done unveils demo and trailer

September 11, 2024 by Andrew Newton

South Korea indie developer, Groovy MOAI, has released the beta test demo for their cooperative PvE horror Dungeon Done on Steam, but it’s only available until 16th September. If you’ve ever wondered what happens to all those dungeons after they’ve been cleared by the heroes in animes then this game may just answer that question.  Players will become scavengers and seek out any overlook treasures whilst avoiding any left over horrors.

In Dungeon Done, players are just ordinary people, they aren’t heroes or mighty fighters and there’s no extra powers granted by a gorgeous, big-boobed deity. The player’s characters are ill-equipped and unskilled in combat but have a thirst for adventure and so turn to scavenging dungeons previously cleared by heroes in search of any remaining treasures.  The good news is there are treasure still to be found that can bring great fortune, the bad news is that many of the monsters they thought long dead are still very much alive.

While many dungeon delving titles focus on fighting monsters (and in some cases each other) Dungeon Done places the focus on teamwork and strategic gameplay to collect the treasures and escape the dungeon.  Survival is essential and players will need to avoid monsters rather than fight.

Up to six players can enter the dungeon as a team, with each member being able to take on different roles and use different equipment.  Players will need to communicate with each other effectively in order to operate traps, gather treasure and escape with their lives intact.

The demo for Dungeon Done is now available on Steam until 16th September.  Be quick and get in the dungeon before the treasure is all taken.
