Sing Sing star Colman Domingo is set to make his directorial debut with Scandalous, a drama about the relationship between Sammy Davis Jr. and Kim Novak.
According to Deadline the Academy Award nominated Domingo will have two of Hollywood’s finest young performers at his disposal with the news that Anyone But You star Sydney Sweeney and Alien: Romulus breakout David Jonsson will play Novak and Davis Jr. respectively.
Written by Matthew Fantaci (The New Look), Scandalous will chronicle the illicit affair between film star Kim Novak and legendary all-round entertainer Sammy Davis Jr., who fell for eachother at the height of their fame, but against the backdrop of racial tensions in America that threatened their reputations and careers.
