Robert Pattinson made a big splash in Christopher Nolan’s Tenet, and he’ll reteam with the iconic filmmaker for his mysterious project.
Little is known about the project, as Nolan has kept the plot and character details under wraps. It was once rumored the film would be a period vampire thriller or a helicopter action thriller, but those close to the production have said no one has gotten close to what the filmmaker is cooking up.
Pattinson will join Matt Damon, Tom Holland, and Anne Hathaway in the lead roles. Lupita Nyongo and Zendaya are reported to have supporting roles in the still-untitled picture.
Nolan has written the script and is producing alongside his wife and producing partner, Emma Thomas, for their company Syncopy. Universal will produce and distribute the film, continuing their partnership after the massively successful collaboration with Oppenheimer.
Pattinson will have a busy 2025, with Bong Joon Ho’s new film Mickey 17 set for release and the actor filming the Nolan project and Matt Reeves’ The Batman Part 2.
Nolan’s mystery film will begin production within the first few months of 2025 and be released on July 17th, 2026.
