Roguelike FPS Death Elevator arrives on consoles

November 28, 2024 by Andrew Newton

QUByte Interactive and indie developer Games From The Abyss have announced the release of their roguelike FPS Death Elevator on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch.  Initially released on PC via Steam, Death Elevator requires quick reflexes to take on the hordes of enemies.

Death Elevator takes players to a mysterious environment where an ascending elevator (or lift as we call it in the UK) takes players ever higher through increasingly challenging battles against hordes of enemies. Players will have their reflexes and survival skills tested as the enemies charge forward in high-tension attacks.

As players reach higher floors and defeat enemies, they will be able to uncover fragments of an interpretative story that reveals details of the mystery surrounding the player’s character’s origins and the purpose of the elevator.  Reach the top or die trying.

Each playthrough offers a different experience with randomly generated rooms and weapons, plus an ever-changing flow of challenges to complete. Although, in each and every playthrough, when the player is in danger time will slow down to allow them to precisely react to events, whether that be by evading or by counterattacking.

Death Elevator is available to purchase now on consoles.  PC gamers, be sure to check the game out on Steam.
