IO Interactive has announced that a new Elusive Target will be coming to Hitman World of Assassination this December. This new Elusive Target is Max Valliant, also known as The Splitter, and is played by Hollywood action legend, Jean-Claude Van Damme. As well as being voiced by JCVD, Valliant also features the likeness of the action legend…
From 12th December to 12th January 2025 The Splitter will be available in the Free Starter Pack for new players of Hitman and can be replayed as many times during this period. This is also available as a regular Elusive Target for Hitman World of Assassination players but with only one attempt, a new DLC is also available featuring a range of Splitter goodies.
In The Splitter, Max Valliant is a former ICA operative who was assumed eliminated after being targeted for elimination for working with other organisations. After many years he has reappeared and taken over the Chongqing ICA Data Storage facility and is demanding to speak to the ICA board. As Agent 47, players will have three missions – the first to escort an ICA board member within the facility, secondly to uncover Valliant’s agenda and finally to take down Valliant once and for all.
“Max Valliant is quite the entertaining character, bringing a lot of action movie villain energy, he is ruthless, and of course, he can do the split!” shared Jean-Claude Van Damme. “The Splitter is a thrilling mission and like in any good action flick, Hitman players will have a few surprises, but I’ll let them find out by themselves.”
The Splitter Pack DLC is a new DLC pack themed after this latest Elusive Target and is due to release on 12th December for £3.99/$4.99/€4.99). This pack includes:
- Permanent Access to the Replication – A two-level Arcade contract featuring The Splitter Elusive Target

- The Splitter Kukri Knife
- The “Good Quar Vol. 3” VHS Tape
- A set of six cosmetics for the Freelancer Safehouse inspired by the Elusive Target
- The Season of The Splitter –Live Updates, Free for Hitman World of Assassination Players
