Netflix has officially announced that filming has wrapped on the second season of Wednesday with the release of a new image of Jenna Ortega’s title character from the hit Addams Family spin-off series.
While much of the second season is shrouded in mystery, showrunners Al Gough and Miles Millar teased that season two will see the show “exploring more Addams Family Lore and [they] are excited to introduce an eclectic lineup of incredible new characters!”
Alongside Jenna Ortega, season two of Wednesday stars Steve Buscemi, Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Hunter Doohan, Victor Dorobantu, Moosa Mostafa, Isaac Ordonez, Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo, Billie Piper, Georgie Farmer, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter, Noah Taylor with Luis Guzmán and Catherine Zeta-Jones. Confirmed guest cast include Fred Armisen, Joanna Lumley, Thandiwe Newton, Jamie McShane, Frances O’Connor, Haley Joel Osment, Heather Matarazzo, Joonas Suotamo, Lady Gaga and Christopher Lloyd, who of course played Uncle Fester in the 1990s movies.

Wednesday will return to Netflix with its second season in 2025, while the first season is available to stream now.
