Team Firestorm has released a new content update for their Lovecraftian gothic horror murder mystery, Blood on the Thames. The ‘Quincy’s Madness’ update reveals more side stories to explore and deeper integration with their augmented reality game, accessible at AITIS.org.
Minerva ‘Mini’ Ernest is having a bit of a tough time at present, first her husband is found mutilated and face down in the Thames and then her maid is discovered lying in a puddle of blood. Determined to find out more, Mini ventures into London’s shadowy underworld where her life is forever changed when she finds herself in the middle of an eldritch conspiracy that even threatens London itself.
The new Quincy’s Madness update adds more side content that further develops the game’s horrifying and intriguing story and provides players with more opportunity to bring out their inner Sherlock Holmes and solve puzzles and gather clues.
The update also adds deeper integration with its augmented reality game (ARG). This ARG provides a wealth of new information on the captivating cast of characters found within Blood on the Thames and reveals vital motivations in a centuries-spanning story.
Matt Thompson, founder of Team Firestorm and game director, said: “We have been so heartened by the enthusiasm for Blood on the Thames. As our debut title, it will forever have a place in my heart and to be able to add new stories within and beyond the core game has been a joy. I hope the new side story details and ARG will give players new insights to pore over for months on end. Perhaps right up to our next release…”
