New Digimon game coming to PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S later this year

February 13, 2025 by Andrew Newton

Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe has revealed details of a new Digimon game coming to the franchise later this year.  Digimon Story Time Stranger will provide an epic story that allows players to explore the bond that exists between Digimon and humans.  Watch the new trailer below to see more of these realms.

Digimon Story Time Stranger will take players through an epic narrative that spans through time across the human and Digital World and reveal the details surrounding the mystery of the world’s collapse.  As players seek to uncover the mystery behind the collapse, they will meet unique characters that will help shape their journey.

Along with the RPG mechanics, players will be able to explore their world and discover the Digimon that live there, tame them and then recruit and train them for turn-based battles.  There’s a large variety of different Digimon and combined with their deep customisation and options for evolution there are almost limitless ways that players can approach battles.

“Embark on a mission where chance encounters with unique characters will shape your journey across time and parallel worlds.
Collect, raise and customise a diverse array of Digimon to tackle challenges in your own way.”

Digimon Story Time Stranger will release on Xbox Series X/S, Playstation 5 and PC later this year.  Look out for more news coming soon.
