As pre-production continues on the second season of Marvel’s Jessica Jones, Deadline is reporting that the Netflix series has enlisted The Returned showrunner Raelle Tucker as a replacement for outgoing executive producer Liz Friedman.
“We’ve had such an incredible response to our first season, on which I’ve been so fortunate to have an extraordinary team all the way down the line from the fellow writers, executive producers, cast and crew,” states Jessica Jones showrunner and creator Melissa Rosenberg. “I’m thrilled to have someone as talented as Raelle join our team as writer and executive producer as we delve into Jessica’s continued story.”
As yet, there’s no word on a release date for Jessica Jones season 2, but early 2017 looks likely.
