Peter Dinklage, John Hawkes and Lucas Hedges join Martin McDonagh’s Three Billboards

April 10, 2016 by Gary Collinson

The Wrap is reporting that Peter Dinklage (Game of Thrones), John Hawkes (Winter’s Bone) and Lucas Hedges (Manchester by the Sea) have joined the cast of Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, the latest film from Martin McDonagh, direct of In Bruges and Seven Psychopaths.

The trio join the previously announced Frances McDormand (Hail, Caesar!), Abbie Cornish (Sucker Punch), Caleb Landry Jones (X-Men: First Class) and Seven Psychopaths stars Woody Harrelson and Sam Rockwell in what is shaping up to be a pretty stellar cast.

The film will see McDormand as “a mother whose daughter was raped and murdered. Furious that the police in Ebbing, Missouri, haven’t caught the killer, she pays for three local billboards lambasting law enforcement officials and goading them into action.”

Harrelson is set to play the local sheriff, with Rockwell his hot-headed deputy and Cornish his wife. Hedges stars as McDormand’s son, while Dinklage will play a local who has a crush on her.

Production on Three Billboards is set to get underway this month. As yet, there’s no word on a release date.
