Fede Alvarez to direct comic book adaptation Incognito

October 14, 2016 by Gary Collinson

Evil Dead and Don’t Breathe helmer Fede Alvarez is set to bring Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips’ comic book series Incognito to the big screen, directing a script from rising screenwriter Daniel Casey (10 Cloverfield Lane, Kin, Godforsaken).

Initially published by Marvel’s Icon imprint before moving over to Image Comics, Incognito follows Zach Overkill “a super villain who turns evidence against his boss, ending up in a witness protection program in which he’s administered drugs to suppress his powers and given a low-level job. But the man starts to chafe under his ‘normal life’ and when he finds a way to get his powers back, must decide what kind of life he wants to lead.”
