Lindsay Lohan lobbying to star in a live-action The Little Mermaid

February 20, 2017 by Robert Kojder

Everyone loves a good comeback story (exhibit A: that crazy Super Bowl game) so it doesn’t really come as a surprise that once upon a time Hollywood darling Lindsay Lohan is presenting options that would insert her presence back into the limelight.

Outside of writing the script for a potential Mean Girls sequel, Lindsay Lohan is now taking to Instagram sharing a side-by-side comparison of her (now a redhead) and The Little Mermaid‘s Ariel (reportedly, the caption for the post at one point also suggested that Beauty and the Beast director Bill Condon should be the one to lead the project)…

Lindsay Lohan of course has suffered dramatically from various drug addictions in the past and does not really have much of a film career at the moment, but it’s always possible that Hollywood gives her a chance at redemption.

Would you like to see Lindsay Lohan as Ariel in a live-action adaptation of The Little Mermaid? Let us know in the comments below…
