Anthony Mackie says a Marvel film / TV crossover “wouldn’t work at all”

March 20, 2017 by Robert Kojder

Even though the various Marvel television shows all contain obvious references and minor character appearances from the blockbuster superhero films, it appears that an all-out crossover between the big and small screen sides of the Marvel Cinematic Universe can be ruled out, at least for the time being

Anthony Mackie (who plays Falcon in the MCU) was asked about the possibility of such a crossover during an appearance Wizard World Cleveland (via ScreenGeek ), replying that: “Different universes, different worlds, different companies, different designs. Kevin Feige is very specific about how he wants the Marvel Universe to be seen in the film world. It wouldn’t work. It wouldn’t work at all.”

Last year when we interviewed Mackie for Captain America: Civil War, he also expressed his interest in a Marvel/DC team-up, which obviously has about a 0% chance of ever happening.

Do you agree with Mackie about a Marvel movie and TV crossover? Can you see it happening? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below…
