Writer-director Rachel Miller (The Many Lives of Pippa Lee, Maggie’s Plan) has enlisted Steve Carell, Amy Schumer and Nicole Kidman to star in her new film She Came to Me, THR has revealed.
Although plot details are being kept under wraps, the film is described as “a sweeping comedic drama, a multigenerational story about family and the complexities of modern life with a through line of two intertwining love sagas.”
Carell will next be seen in September’s tennis drama Battle of the Sexes alongside Emma Stone, while Schumer has comedy Snatched opening in May and Kidman can currently be seen in the HBO series Big Little Lies.
