Straight Outta Compton’s O’Shea Jackson Jr. lands Godzilla: King of Monsters role

March 28, 2017 by Robert Kojder

Adding to an already impressive cast that includes Vera Farmiga, Millie Bobby Brown, and Kyle Chandler, O’Shea Jackson Jr. (who turned in a breakout performance in 2015’s NWA biopic Straight Outta Compton) has reportedly been confirmed by Variety for a role in the much-anticipated Godzilla: King of Monsters. There are no details on the character he will be playing as of this time.

Godzilla: King of Monsters is a sequel to the Gareth Edwards directed reboot, and will also tie into the recently released Kong: Skull Island which is of course all building to a showdown for the ages featuring Godzilla battling King Kong.

Godzilla: King of Monsters hits theaters on March 22nd, 2019, while Godzilla vs. Kong hits on May 29th 2020.
