Actor Luke Hemsworth has teased the return of his Westworld character, Stubbs, for the show’s second season.
There are all kinds of questions left to be answered regarding last year’s hit HBO drama Westworld.
One of the mysteries remaining after the first season’s climax was just what was the status of Luke Hemsworth’s character, Stubbs, who disappeared late in proceedings.
In a recent interview with The Huffington Post, Hemsworth shed a little light on the character’s condition, but of course not revealing anything regarding the show’s much anticipated return.
“Physically? [Stubbs is] well. He’s doing all right. Just taking a sabbatical.”
Hemsworth did note however that he expects next season to be even more complex.
“It’s gotta be a step up, doesn’t it? So it’s gotta get more complex. If there’s any room for production values to get bigger – I don’t know how they’d do that – but I’m sure it will.”
Hemsworth is right; it will certainly be difficult to top what has already been achieved with Westworld, especially in terms of production value. One of the reason’s the show is taking a year off is because of its epic production
Whether not they will manage it will remain to be seen, as will Stubbs himself.
