Wonder Woman has become the fourth-highest grossing action heroine at the US domestic box office.
The latest DC movie is going over a treat with fans all over the world, and critics are on board too, providing a stark contrast to the other movies in the DCEU franchise.
And the good news isn’t stopping for Wonder Woman, as the film has now climbed the domestic charts, making Wonder Woman herself the fourth highest grossing action heroine ever (via Box Office Mojo).
Wonder Woman currently has a total of $221,460,634, putting Diana in fourth place behind the Hunger Games’ Katniss, Jyn Erso of Rogue One, and Rey of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Wonder Woman is quite some way off moving up a spot with Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 $60 million ahead at this present time.
However, this is certainly great news for the character and for the movie, and with more sequels bound to follow, Wonder Woman will be looking to climb even higher.
Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.
