Directors Joe and Anthony Russo have taken to Instagram to reveal that production has wrapped on Marvel’s hugely-anticipated superhero blockbuster Avengers: Infinity War… however, there’ll be no rest for the filmmaking siblings, as they are now about to jump straight into principal photography on the as-yet-untitled Avengers 4.

With Disney’s D23 Expo taking place this weekend [check out a Thanos statue on display on the show floor here] and the San Diego Comic-Con International next weekend, let’s hope we get to see our first glimpse of the superhero epic over the coming days…
As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment – the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain.
