Warner Bros. has announced that it has set release dates for two new DC Films projects, which are set to arrive on February 14th 2020 and June 5th 2020.
Although the studio set a host of release dates through to 2020 when it officially announced the DC Extended Universe, the slate has seen some changes, with The Flash and the Justice League sequel both pulled from their initial dates.
So far, Warner Bros. has Justice League arriving on November 17th of this year and Aquaman on December 21st 2018. Also set, but seemingly subject to change are Shazam on April 5th 2019, Cyborg on April 3rd 2020 and Green Lantern Corps on July 24th 2020.
In addition to the initial slate of movies, we now know that Warner Bros. is also developing The Batman, Justice League Dark, Wonder Woman 2, Man of Steel 2, Suicide Squad 2, Gotham City Sirens, Batgirl, Nightwing and Black Adam.
While there’s a lot of uncertainty with regards to the DCEU post-2018 at present, it would seem a smart bet that this gets cleared up during Warner’s San Diego Comic-Con panel this coming Saturday. Rumours are circulating that Wonder Woman 2 will be officially announced, and one would have to assume that won’t be the only project we get added to the upcoming DC slate.
