Curtiss P-40 Warhawk coming to Flight Sim World

October 9, 2017 by Andrew Newton

At this years Frontier 2017 event Dovetail Games and BlueSky Flight Simulations revealed the first military aircraft coming to their flight simulator, Flight Sim World.  Budding pilots can soon take to the skies in the American Curtiss P-40 Warhawk.  BlueSky FS have released plenty of videos covering development of this plane and test flights and can be viewed below…

The Curtiss P-40 Warhawk is an American single engine fighter that first flew in 1938.  Designed around its predecessor, the Curtiss P-36 Hawk, the P-40 Warhawk was a single seat fighter and ground attack aircraft that saw frontline service until the end of World War 2.  So popular was this plane with flight crews that it was the third most-produced American fighter, after the P-51 and P-47.

As with all planes in Flight Sim World the Curtiss P-40 Warhawk has been faithfully replicated to look, sound and fly just like the real thing with every switch and gauge in the cockpit completely operational.
