It looks like Marcus Burnett and Mike Lowrey could be heading back to the screen, with Martin Lawrence revealing on Conan that the long-rumoured Bad Boys 3 is in the works under producer Jerry Bruckheimer.
“I believe [it’s happening], yes, ” said Lawrence, who starred alongside Will Smith in 1995’s Bad Boys and its 2003 sequel Bad Boys II. “I just talked to Jerry Bruckheimer yesterday and he said it’s real. They’re working on the script, they’re getting close and it all looks good.”
So, it seems Lawrence is on board, although there’s no word if he’ll be joined once again by Will Smith, or if Michael Bay will return to the director’s chair. However, we will of course keep you posted with developments.
